Shoreline Restaurant To Segin “Splashtacular” Makeover
Sea World Resort’s signature buffet restaurant the Shoreline will be undergoing a complete refurbishment starting 1 September 2008, due for completion in early December 2008.
During this period we will temporarily relocate the restaurant to the Lobby where breakfast and dinner will be served daily, as usual.
We are excited to share our plans with you knowing that the final result will be an outstanding restaurant with a modern interior and cutting edge restaurant design. With an expansion to accommodate an extra 100 seats, the new Shoreline promises to be “bigger and better.”
The entire space will undergo an “ocean inspired” rejuvenation. The ceiling will be a showpiece featuring a suspended high tech European fabric that has yet to be used anywhere in Australia. This fabric will be uplit by special lighting attached to the room's columns, reflecting back across the restaurant with spectacular effects. The custom made carpet will resemble a rippling seabed and outside landscaping will feature beach and seascapes.
New additions to the Shoreline will also include a wood-fire pizza oven, a u-shaped dual servery and innovative stone finishes to all surfaces and waiter stations.
Throughout this period there will be minimal disturbance to resort guests.
