The Melrose and Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurant win Gold Coast Magazine “People’s Choice” Awards.
Sea World Resort’s is pleased to announce that two of its dining venues, The Melrose and Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurants have been named two of the Gold Coast’s favourites, following their win at the Gold Coast Magazine (GCM) People’s Choice Awards recently.
The GCM People’s Choice Awards highlight the excellence of local restaurants with nominees requiring at
least 300 public votes in the months leading up to the awards.
The Melrose and Hatsuhana were again victorious, collecting four awards from a total of 13 different
category nominations. They proudly claimed the following:
Best Japanese Speciality Restaurant – Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurant
Best Maitre D’Hotel – Jenny Alker – The Melrose
Chef of the Year – Nathan Barker – The Melrose
Excellence Award – The Melrose

The Hatsuhana is open for lunch Monday to Friday from 11:30am and for dinner nightly from 6pm. Try our delicious new $25.50 set lunch menu with kids lunch options for just just $1 per year of age (up to 13yrs).
